Last week saw Cirdan pick up the gong for Placement Partnership of the Year 2019 (student nomination category) at the Ulster University Excellence Awards.

The Awards celebrate the transformational impact that the University’s students, graduates and research are having on societies and economies across the globe.

The event, which took place at St. Anne’s Cathedral Belfast recognised the University’s collaborations with private, public and not-for-profit sector partners, both locally and globally.

On the night, Cirdan was among the placement employers who were acknowledged for their commitment to supporting the next generation of highly skilled, industry-ready graduates.

Speaking after winning the award, Laura Henry, Head of Finance and Talent Development at Cirdan said:

“Cirdan prides itself in developing talent and investing in students, offering a range of placement opportunities each year in software development, engineering, marketing and life and health sciences. We are thrilled to have won this award and the fact that it was in the student nomination category makes it even more special.”
