Improving patient wellbeing through Innovation is a core value at Cirdan. Unfortunately, global breast cancer cases are predicated to rise over the next decade and there is a growing demand for solutions that help clinical teams improve operating efficiencies and patient outcomes.
Cirdan are therefore delighted to introduce the latest member of our suite of imaging products – Solas OR. Solas OR is a dedicated X-ray specimen system designed for surgical and biopsy suites, providing high image quality, streamlined workflow and reduced procedure times.
Solas OR incorporates Cirdan’s latest imaging technology to provide rapid image capture of quality specimen images with high contrast levels, excellent definition and clear views of microcalcifications and lesions.
Saving time in the operating room for both patients and the clinical team was a key consideration when developing Solas OR, and the system incorporates a simple intuitive and easy to learn 4 step (5 click) workflow from start to finish.
With a large field of view at high resolution, combined with the option of geometric magnification if desired means that Solas OR can also be used to examine biopsy samples, making for a prudent investment where dual functionality is required.
Commenting on the launch of Solas OR, Stephen Dunniece CO of Cirdan’s Imaging Division, said “Looking at the market and increased pressures on surgical teams, we felt that there was an opportunity to develop a compact, competitively priced, yet well specified system that made managing patient workflows simpler and faster in the OR, while giving surgical teams all the image quality and features they require to improve patient outcomes.”
Solas OR is the latest in Cirdan’s family of imaging products which include the macro imaging system Pathlite and the breast biopsy system CoreLite. All systems are supported via a global, 24/7 support team. To find out more about Solas OR and our range of imaging products please contact:- marketing@cirdan.com or visit www.cirdan.com
