Agnieszka Czerwiec began her work with Cirdan in 2016 as a Project Manager. Her skills and responsibilities have evolved ever since, and she is now a Customer Success Manager, dealing with complex customer needs on a daily basis. Her day-to-day activities in work are varied and include resolving problems for customers, dealing with complex questions and requests, and connecting customers with the staff they need in order to ensure that their equipment and labs are running efficiently.
Aside from her work as a professional problem solver, Agnieszka has a wide range of interesting hobbies. From salsa dancing, to woodwork and joinery, to gardening, to home renovation and DIY, and enjoying an active life outdoors (especially with her dog). Agnieszka loves to take on the challenge of learning a new skill. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, her hobbies are a means of self-improvement, and allow her to cultivate projects that can grow into something new.
We caught up with Agnieszka to get a deeper insight into the daily life of a Cirdan Customer Success Manager, and how Cirdan forms an integral part of her busy life.
What activities does your job involve on a daily basis?
On a daily basis look after combining customer needs and our business needs, and making sure that customer needs are met. I am a Cirdan representative and the first line of contact for customers, to provide support for any form of escalation and issues that are not purely ‘business as usual’. I like to think of myself in a Sherlock Holmes role, because very often I have to get to understand the issue and use clues to assess who is the best person to solve the issue practically and address the concerns in a timely manner.
What is your favourite thing about your job?
My favourite thing about my job is having the ability to help people. I like to solve problems, so if I can resolve an issue myself or work out how to go about having it resolved, that is a small win for me! I feel that by doing this I can contribute to the quality of patient care which our customers are providing. It’s a very rewarding feeling!
How do you spend your time outside of work?
At the moment, my two main priorities are gardening and my dog! But I also love dancing, and I’m starting to dedicate more time to this, as so many of the schools are beginning to open again after the pandemic. I would also love to be a carpenter or a joiner when I retire! I have a little woodworking workshop in my garage that I spend a lot of evenings and weekends in. I haven’t lost any fingers yet, so I’m counting that as a success!
What are you most passionate about?
I’m really passionate about improvement. I like perfection. I feel that this is why I am so drawn to gardening and DIY projects. It comes from my love of watching things grow and improve, and I love the challenge. There is nothing quite like seeing that end result!
